Nicole Passmore is a veteran of the Vancouver improv and comedy scenes. With over 13 years of improv experience under her belt, she is one-half of the duo Virginia Jack, one-seventh of the super-group Who Tang Clan, and a member of Instant Theatre. She is a co-founder and alumna of the sketch group Pump Trolley Comedy, and has regularly performed sketch for the Hero Show, Music Waste, and the Olio Festival. She is a trainer, judge, and former coach for the Canadian Improv Games, a national high school tournament that she herself competed in. She played the lovable Joan on the Leo Award-nominated web series Mental Beast, and yes, she is the deranged hot dog in that Dan Mangan music video.
Briana Rayner is an improviser, actor, voice artist, and classic typewriter enthusiast. Recent film/TV credits include Untold Stories of the ER (TLC), the webseries’ The Movers, Sammy Kingsford: Manager to the Stars, and Bruised, a horror film that won her Best Actress in a Short at the Macabre Faire Film Festival (NY) and a Leo nomination. She improvises with Virginia Jack Comedy, The Instant Theatre Company and The Bobbers. She is a dedicated clown-doctor in a long-term care facility with Vancouver non-profit Jest for Joy, where she tells purposefully bad jokes, sings songs, and trips over her feet. In her spare time, Briana likes to bake and watch shark attack videos.
